Here is a photo taken at the front of Paul Bocuse's restaurant, at "Collonges au Mont d'Or", a city near Lyon.
In fact, I just took this photo thinking that you should have the same feeling as me : this man is not only a great cooker, he is also very proud of himself to have his own portrait ! Is it "too much" ?

Come back for Lyon daily blog ! After a period of holidays, you will find some new photos from my city.
Today I offer you a trip in the "Monts d'Or", at the north of Lyon. It is a very beautiful place and you find some famous institutions like Paul Bocuse's restaurant and the Museum of old cars called "Rochetaillée Castle". Those photos are dealing with some amators who certainly collect old cars, meet each other every sunday and take their car to participate in a sort of showroom in the museum. A beautiful collection, isn't it ?

 

A bridge to knowledge...

This bridge will lead you to knowledge ! Actually, it is the bridge called "pont de l'université" (bridge of university) which is near the university of Lyon (human sciences) that you can see at the left. Built in 1896 to make the way to university easier, I think that it gives us a good view of those old schools behind it, and the river looks like a dark sea of ice...

Those cars on the road are like ghosts ! A line of speed an evidence of my urban life in summer...

Here begins a serie about... life under the bridge ! The first one is taken from St Georges, part of the old city. Clouds were so terrific, moving quickly thanks to a summer wind, that I can't help taking some photos of this aesthetic moment of loneliness.

Tramway... as promised !

Yesterday I spoke about a tramway station but I realized that you certainly never heard about the tramway of our city ! So I decide to correct this mistake by showing it to you. Put on rails recently (less than 5 years), the tramway is a very convenient way to circulate into Lyon. Fast and clean, it is more agreeable than the subway...

Of course, this is a joke, it is just one of the several rooms that compose the museum of decorative arts and textile in Lyon. The visitor can also find a lot of tissues made of silk, one of the famous former industry of our city... Do you appreciate this "classical french living room" ?
